Some attempts:
It's about A and B. They are a couple. At the beginning of the film they are one. At the end of
the film they are no longer one.
The film explores relationship dynamics on a non-verbal level.
A and B have created their own cocoon.
Actually, everything is fine between A and B. The film tries to distil this "actually".
A couple that no longer needs words. And then suddenly needs them. And has forgotten how
to speak.
Two slightly offset vibrations.
There are phases in which they vibrate in the same way.
There are phases in which they vibrate offset.
There are phases in which they cancel each other out and a new vibration arises.
A and B spend the hot summer afternoons in their dim room - or on the beach, where they usually
lie tightly embraced on the gravel or gaze into each other's eyes while snippets of other
conversations briefly enter their world, make their eyes smile, and then fade away. They haven't
used words for a long time. A glance is enough for A to know what's going on in B's mind.
It is not clear at what point exactly this cocoon begins to crack for the first time. During sex, when
B goes a little too far? Or in A's nightmare, which she hides from B? Why A keeps the dream
secret, A doesn't really know herself. Has this crack always been there?
A cannot comprehend this sudden strangeness, cannot find the words to share with B what is
happening. A's world is shaken. This quiet thought of doubt multiplies into an existential problem.
B also notices that something is wrong, that their vibrations no longer resonate, that A is becoming
increasingly unreachable. Communication fails.
Finally, the two take refuge back in their illusion of love.
But unspoken, they both sense that something has changed.
