The film and television market is changing and the series genre in particular is more in demand than ever. The Chair of Serial Narration in the Screenwriting Department prepares students for this change, both in theory and in practice.
Therefore, in our seminars, we give the students the opportunity to independently develop both their series know-how and their own interests. We attach great importance to the development of the authors' own artistic voice.
We prepare the students equally for their managerial roles as showrunners and as team players in writers' rooms. Our students should be able to work as best-trained dramaturges and authors for public broadcasters as well as for the advertising industry, internet platforms or international pay-TV stations.
