Fahnenflucht

Just like the soldier, the deserter is always part of any war. This is also the case in the current war in Ukraine, where thousands of young men on both sides of the front line are evading military service. Those who refuse to serve in the armed forces not only have a right, but also a reason for their actions. The film “Fahnenflucht” meets people who have left their homeland because they do not want to participate in this war.
