Take 13

Hannah. Michael. Jens. Three students at a
film school. They work as a team on two training films
and repeatedly come into conflict, not least because of their
visions and working methods. The clock
ticks, while Hannah, who is hard of hearing, is plagued by insecurity and
doubts and Jens ruthlessly pushes himself to the fore.
ruthlessly pushes himself to the fore. The cameraman Michael finds himself
between the fronts and is forced to make a decision
between professional and private ambitions.
Competition, envy and intrigue are part of everyday life and make him
blind to the concerns of his fellow students. A situation in which
each of the three must sooner or later face their personal
fears, because in the end, each of them is on their own:
once the lid drops, only one person is ever in charge.
The episodic narrative structure of Take 13 follows the
perceptions of the protagonists and tells the story from the
the same day three times from the subjective point of view of the protagonists. Similar to
puzzle, the story is completed after each episode
and develops a multi-layered portrait of the modern challenges
challenges of filmmaking.
