The structure of "Film and TV Production Management" (PMF) is currently unique in the German-speaking world. The individual modules are tailored to the requirements of the film and television industry, so that the course is the perfect answer to the industry's current great need for academically trained production management staff. This shortage of skilled workers has arisen in recent years, among other things, due to the booming series productions of streaming services.
The aim is to train production managers, production managers and production managers in a practical way. These professional groups are essential for the production of moving images of any kind. Graduates of the course can work as managers in the areas mentioned after completing their studies.
The course, which can be studied in a dual model, leads to the internationally recognized Bachelor of Arts degree in seven semesters (including the practical semester) and started for the first time in the summer semester of 2022.
